OCR SERVICES
OCR is Optical Character Recognition. OCR allows us to scan typed or printed pages and the computer "reads" the scan and creates a digital text file from the scan. With a clean source page OCR can save a great deal of time that would be otherwise be spent typing information into the computer. OCR is not always perfect, however, and requires careful proof-reading to correct errors
that inevitably occur during the OCR process. Therefore we prefer to receive text in digital form. (i.e. email, MS Word .doc, etc.)
If OCR is the appropriate solution for a client, our fee is $25/page
GRAPHIC SERVICES
Most pictures require processing before they are "web-ready". This processing might include scanning, scaling, balancing and compression with Adobe Photoshop. The fee for preparing raw photos or graphics is $15/picture.
If the client already has "web-ready" graphics prepared, we can place additional .jpg or .gif files "as is" for $5/picture.
OTHER SERVICES
Custom web programming, animation or additional design services can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, usually for $40/hour.
