Published by Story Comics, Fight Against Crime is considered by some to be the most violent and gory of all pre-code crime comics. This cover certainly lives up to the hype. Overstreet notes that this issue features Alex Toth-ish art by Ross Andru, and one story is a swipe from E.C.'s Haunt of Fear #19.
