Horrific 3

A very notorious horror cover, known for obvious reasons as "that bullet-in-the-head cover". It was part of a series of covers for this title, drawn by Don Heck, that featured simple designs featuring a big close-up of a spooky face. The publisher felt that a big face on a comic cover helped sell books -- he was probably right.

Artist Don Heck is probably best know for drawing early Silver Age adventures of Marvel's Iron Man and Avengers.
