Stories to Hold You Spellbound 14, 1953
The story pictured on the cover is first, and illustrated by Joe Maneely. But actually, it's a faithless wife who ends up with an unexpected and unsavory companion. The second story, "The Saddest Story In The World" has Ed Win art but the story is a bit of a groaner - Stan Lee on a bad day. Next is "The Revolt of Wilbur Bixby!" has very nice and distinctive art but is unsigned. The best I can offer is that it looks like an odd mix of Joe Simon and Bernard Krigstein. Then "The Heat is On" with Russ Heath art and finally "Close Shave" with great artwork from Fred Kida. With not just a classic cover but also absolutely top notch contents make this a really fantastic comic!
