Mmmm, an inter-racial catfight! The jungle comic genre seems like a curious
phenomenon to me, but there were a good number of jungle adventure comics
published in the 1940s. Even though most of the stories are at best thin fantasy
and at worst laughably absurd, it's easy to see the appeal of sexy "Good
Girl" covers like this! This cover is also notable for its sex role-reversal
with the muscular guy tied up playing a 'damsel in distress' role.
