Out Of This World Adventures 2, 1950

This actually isn't a comic book - it's a pulp magazine. Pulps were kind of like cheap paperbacks - affordable lowbrow literature for masses. The covers were very much like the comic books that came later, but the contents were just text stories with an occasional illustration on title pages.

This Pulp is diffent from most, because in addition to the pulp stories, it also had a 32 page section of real comic book stories with art by established comic artists Joe Kubert and John Giunta (among others.)

And let's not forget the fantastic painted cover featuring not one, but two pairs of headlights! And a strange space alien too - cool!
