Startling 44, 1947

This cover features Space Detective Lance Lewis attempting to meet the challenge of giant insects from outer space bent on world conquest. Whew! I've got to comment on a few of this comics features - first of all, I hope I'm not the only one who finds the idea of a Space Detective somewhat odd. (But I have problems with Space Cowboys and Space Pirates too, so go figure!) Second, that giant grasshopper on the cover is wearing a cape... I won't even ask why. And lastly, just in case anyone missed them, how about that girl's breasts? Could they be any more prominent?? Wow.
