A beautiful jungle girl riding a tiger, in airbrush, by Alex Schomburg - Golden Age comic covers just don't get any better than this! Princess Pantha has certainly never looked better, and I love the delicate pastel colors of the background elements. Back in the 40's the airbrush was a very new tool in the world of art, and Schomburg quickly proved a master of the technique! (Most of Schomburg's airbrush art is signed "Xela", Alex spelled backwards.) This comic is pretty beat, but it doesn't detract from the beauty of the artwork.
