Torchy 2, 1950

Ahh, Torchy - the woman so sexy even men in paintings can't help but check her out!

No good girl art gallery would be complete without an issue of Torchy! This issue's cover is my least favorite of the title's 6 issue run, but it's still a pretty top-notch GGA cover. Torchy was created by Bill Ward, and was a popular feature in the military's Stars & Stripes newspaper while Bill was in the Army. Torchy was also a long-running backup feature in Quality's Doll-Man, Military and Modern comic books before graduating to her own short lived title.

Torchy comics are avidly collected and are tough to find; as I said before, this is probably my least favorite issue of the run so if I ever get a better issue I'll replace this one!

P.S. I no longer own this comic, it was sold in April 2003 for $95.
