Air Fighters Comics Vol. 2 #8, 1944

Wow, I don't know where to start with this cover! It has a lot of great stuff going on. First, there's the shamefully racist wartime propaganda that portrays Japan as an almost vampiric monster. Then we've got the unusual design of the face with Airboy and his bird-plane drawn like a nose so that Airboy is literally on "the face of Japan"! Plus the newspaper background has some cool 'headlines' that promote the back-up stories which feature such cool characters as: Iron Ace, Sky Wolf, Black Angel and the Flying Dutchman.
