Speed 36, 1945

The indicia for this issue says it's published by "Family Comics, Inc." but it's really a Harvey comic. Captain Freedom is featured in the lead story, "Hirohito's Ghosts!" There's also a Girl Commandos story with Jill Elgin art. Alex Schomburg's artwork on this cover is action packed but also somewhat humorous for it's somewhat phallic, but undeniably imaginative military-engineering designs. Snarky comments aside, those little rocket-planes do look like they'd be FUN to fly!
