Tip Top 34, 1939

I'm not very familiar with this artist, Paul Berdanier, but there's plenty to like in this Tarzan cover, with its dynamic composition, confident figure-work, and delicate foliage.

The contents of this comic consist of reprint newspaper strip anthology format, which was pretty standard at the time (this is a fairly early comic; 1939).

The highlights are probably Tarzan by Hal Foster and Li'l Abner by Al Capp.
