United States Marines 3, 1944

Published by Magazine Enterprises, this classic cover features an octopoid Tojo getting some serious flamethrower action from an American leatherneck... there's even a helpful caption near the bottom that reads "A Leatherneck Flame Thrower" -- just for readers who werereally slow on the uptake! The cover art is uncredited, but I think it could by by Mart Bailey.

This interesting comic was published by Vin Sullivan, with Associate Creig Flessel, both veterans of DC comics. The contents of this issue were not just comics; there were also pictorials of US soldiers posing with dead "Japs", plus miscellaneous informative articles and patriotic propaganda. Contributing artists include H. C. Kiefer, Ogden Whitney, and Mart Bailey.
